A delegation of university lecturers from Brazil visited the ZBT. They are setting up a hydrogen study program in their home country.
As part of the H2Brasil – Green Hydrogen in Brazil project of the German Society for International Cooperation, the ZBT had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from SENAI (Brazil’s national training service for industrial teaching) to its premises, organized by the TH Cologne. The guests were 25 university lecturers who are currently developing a hydrogen study program for Brazil.
It was a great pleasure to have such an interested group with us and to answer their questions about elektrolysis, green hydrogen and fuel cells. The delegates were also interested in finding out how an institute like the ZBT is financed and what role collaborations with other scientific institutions and industry play in our work.
Our new OpenScience project, the Open Fuel Cell, which is inexpensive to build and operate and is ideal for first steps in schools and universities, was met with particular enthusiasm. We are certainly looking forward to fuel cells that will soon be built and used at Brazilian (higher) education institutions according to our open source construction manual.
